# Welcome to the R1 Discover API (v2)

Connect your systems to R1 Discover.

The R1 Discover API connects your EHR, patient portal or application to R1 Discover. With it you can:

* set up locations, programs, staff and patients from your own system, and keep them in step
* show people their R1 Discover assignments, and open activities, videos and assessments for them with one click
* read back assessment scores, activity results and video viewing for your records
* sign people in to R1 Discover with their organization account
